The Ershigs story began in 1921 when founder, Al Ershig began working in a Bellingham sheet metal shop which he purchased in 1935 and renamed Ershigs Sheet Metal Works. That operation continues today although the main focus of our business is now on Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), our metal fabrication capabilities have continued to grow to include stainless and aluminum fabrication in addition to structural steel fabrication. Our current capabilities service the following market categories:
